Connecting to Amnezia Premium
You can purchase a subscription on the Amnezia Premium page.
Windows
For Windows 8, use AmneziaWG for Windows and configuration files in the .conf format.
For Windows 7, use a special version of AmneziaWG and a configuration file in the .conf format.
The latest version of AmneziaVPN for 32-bit systems is 4.3.0.0. It does not support connection via a key, but you can use configuration files in the .conf format with the AmneziaWG for Windows application.
Configuration files can be obtained from your personal account in the Configuration Files section. You can find the link to your personal account in the email containing your key.

For Windows 10 or 11 (x64), download the latest version of the [AmneziaVPN app from the website] or from Github (the .exe file).

Copy the key from your personal account or email.
- Paste the key into the first line of the AmneziaVPN app.
- Click Connect.
If, during the installation of AmneziaVPN on Windows, you encounter the error "the system could not find MSVCP140.dll or MSVCP141.dll," refer to this guide.
macOS
- Download the latest version of the [AmneziaVPN app from the website] or from Github (the .dmg file or a .dmg file for older macOS versions).
Ensure the app has the necessary permissions:
Open: System Preferences > Privacy & Security.
Go to the General section and click Allow for the corresponding app.
AmneziaVPN should be added to the list of allowed apps in System Preferences > Firewall > Options.
Make sure the app has internet access permission in Privacy > Network.
- Copy the key from your personal account or email.
- Paste the key into the first line of the AmneziaVPN app on your second device.
- Click Connect.
Linux
Please note that AmneziaVPN is not supported by all distributions.

Download the latest version of the [AmneziaVPN app from the website] or from Github (the Linux_installer.tar.zip file).

Copy the key from your personal account or email.
- Paste the key into the first line of the AmneziaVPN app.
- Click Connect.
Android
- Download the latest version of the Amnezia VPN app from Google Play.
Alternatively, you can download the APK file from Github. Also, check which APK file is suitable for your Android version.
- Copy the key from your personal account on your first device.
- Paste the key into the first line of the AmneziaVPN app.
- Click Connect.
iOS
The AmneziaVPN app is not available in Russia, but if you still want to install it, we recommend changing your App Store region.
If you choose this option, use the key from your personal account as instructed for other platforms.
As an alternative, you can install the AmneziaWG app.

In this case, download the [AmneziaWG app from the App Store].

Select configuration files in your personal account (the link is available in the email with your key).

Choose your desired location and click Download.
When using a key, you can switch between all available locations on each connected device. However, one configuration file counts as one connected device and provides access to only one location. If you add another location (another file), it will be considered a second connected device.
- Open the AmneziaWG app and tap “+” on the main screen.
- Select Import from File or Archive.
- Choose the downloaded file on your device.
Routers
To set up Amnezia Premium on a router, it must support the AmneziaWG protocol.
Currently, supported routers include Keenetic (version 4.2 and higher) and OpenWRT (versions 23.05.01 - 23.05.05).
Keenetic
Ensure your Keenetic router is version 4.2 or higher.
Check your model and the latest firmware version on the [Keenetic website].

OpenWrt
The AmneziaWG protocol is supported by OpenWrt routers running versions 23.05.01 - 23.05.05.
Check your router’s compatibility (alternative resource).

To set up OpenWrt, you’ll need to:
Connect to the router via SSH.
Enter the command:
sh <(wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Slava-Shchipunov/awg-openwrt/refs/heads/master/amneziawg-install.sh)
Upload the configuration files by copying them; these can be obtained from your personal account.
