Changing the VPN Protocol

AmneziaVPN supports most modern protocols: AmneziaWG, XRay VLESS Reality, OpenVPN, and WireGuard. You can read more about protocols in the protocols description.

1. Open AmneziaVPN and click the server name on the main screen.
2. Click the white rectangle with the VPN protocol name.
3. Select a protocol from the list.
4. Go back to the main screen and click Connect.

If the desired protocol is not in the list, it means someone shared a connect-only configuration with you. Ask that person for a configuration with the required protocols, or connect to your own server.
